What kind of prints do you offer?
Each guest may choose either B&W or Color as they have their pictures done. We also include video messaging. Prints can be customize with logos or event theme making your event one of a kind.
Our standard package includes everything you need. We include any customizations, props, keepsake, 1 hr down-time, unlimited prints, video messaging, delivery, set up, booth host, and removal of the photo booth rental.
Does the photo booth print out pictures on the spot?
Yes, but with higher speed and quality. The digital pictures are printed on professional photo paper in seconds.
What does your booth look like?
We have an open concept booth with multiple backdrops able to capture larger groups and photos are taken by professional photographer
What is X.J Photography?
X.J Photography is a professional photographer in a box, the life of the party, an open-air photo booth extravaganza! Unlike a traditional enclosed claustrophobic photo booth, X.J Photography has a massive wall-sized backdrop which can fit HUGE groups people all in one shot. All X.J Photography experiences include a cheerful and energetic attendant who is there to help bring out the best photos in your guests through the X.J Photography. Plus, they help make sure you don’t get any of those awkward “how does this thing work” photos (although those are some of our favorites).

Siddhartha&Edmond, local wedding photographers from Fort Worth, TX are the creative’s behind the X.J Photography. After seeing a huge need for exciting and professional quality photo booths at wedding receptions, S&E decided to take matters into their own hands and the X.J Photography was born. How many people can fit in one photo?
On average X.J Photography snaps moment of around 2-8 people, but we’ve seen up to 20 squeeze in to a group shot. Consider it a challenge.
What is a "backdrop"?
In other words, it’s the background you’ll see in your picture. You get to choose one of ours for FREE, supply your own, or you can ask X.J Photography to create a special customized one for your event.
Will there be someone from X.J Photography at the event?
Yes, there will always be a professional, energetic and engaging X.J Photography attendant at your event ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that guests have the time of their life.
What are the space/power requirements?
For the full X.J Photography experience, we require at least an 9 ft. x 9 ft’. square on completely level flooring (no gravel, uneven ground, etc), at least 8ft. of height, and 1 dedicated 3-pronged outlet within 20 feet. That said, we can modify the X.J Photography setup to fit into much smaller spaces if absolutely necessary, but why would you want to limit AWESOME?!?
What kind of professional equipment does X.J Photography use?
X.J Photography uses top-notch Canon DSLR cameras with a nifty professional dye-subliminal photo printer calibrated specifically for that camera. Dye Sublimation printing doesn't print in dots like that of inkjet printing; so it provides a much higher photo image quality. In addition, each print has an over-coating protective layer that is water and fingerprint resistant and can make the photo last up to 50 years under normal environments (or about 10 seconds in the hands of a two-year-old).
Does X.J Photography give any discounts?
Non-profit organizations receive a 10% discount, just enter coupon code "notforprofit2015" at checkout. If you’d like to "go green" by not having prints see the next question below for an additional discount. Lastly, if you book a X.JEvents photographer for your event you automatically become eligible for the unbeatable X.JEvents rate on any X.J Photography package. Contact X.J
Can I go green?
Yes! Having an eco-friendly event? Our popular GoGreen option is a photo booth without paper prints. You’ll save $100 off the cost of your rental and save the environment at the same time! (can only be applied to packages including prints). All of guest's favorite social sharing features will still be enabled during the event and all the digital photos will be delivered after the event as usual.
How do I pay X.J Photography?
You can pay us online from the comfort of your couch through our online booking system. We accept all major credit cards. If you'd prefer to pay via check or cash let us know and we'll make it happen!
Does X.J Photography travel?
X.J Photography is located in FORT WORTH and will travel up to 35 miles free of charge. Any locations beyond that will come at an additional cost.
Does X.J Photography have insurance?
Of course! If your venue requires a copy of our liability insurance certificate just let us know!
How early will X.J Photography arrive to my event?
X.J Photography will make sure to arrive early enough to be completely set up and tested before the photo taking begins. This is usually about an 30 minutes to an hour before the party begins.
How much does X.J Photography cost?
Our pricing structure, seen on the homepage, is very simple with lots of room for add-ons and customization to fit your event perfectly! For ease of booking we have added our most popular add-ons into the online instant booking form. For any additional add-ons contact us for a quote!
Does X.J Photography take color or black & white photos?
We take both! Upon entering the X.J Photography you will be prompted to select color or black & white prints on the touch-screen before getting started :D
What do the prints look like? What size are they?
Each print is customized to fit your specific event or theme! We'll come up with a custom graphic on the print and match the colors to compliment the background. Although X.J Photography can print thin strips, we tend to favor 4x6 inch prints as they're bigger, bolder and hold up to wear and tear better! Thin strips get put in people's pockets and ruined, the 4x6's last all the way home and for years to come!
So we had a blast at our event! Now what?
All of your AWESOME images will be in an online viewing gallery where you and guests can share, get FREE downloads, or even purchase prints. Galleries are online for 30 days so spread the word and download them all! These galleries can be password protected if you want, but that is totally up to you!
How many photos can we take? Do we get copies?
We don’t believe in limiting how many times guests can enjoy taking photos in the booth. Also, for any of our packages that include printing, print copies are unlimited as well. We want everyone to walk away with a print and feel like they are always welcome in the X.J Photography.
Does X.J Photography have props?
OH DO WE?!? Props are our favorite part! Without props guests can be very camera shy, but throw a unicorn head in the mix and boy do guests go bonkers! Need custom props to fit your event or theme? Contact us, we'd love to make it happen!
Does X.J Photography Photos have props?
We can! Guestbooks are one of our most popular package add-ons, make sure to select that option during check out.
Do you have a green screen photo booth background option?
Yes! Green screen is a crazy fun way to get really creative with your event. We can do one background image or dozens. There is an additional cost for green screen because of the additional lighting equipment and design work needed. If you are interested in exploring this option, let us know, and we will get you a quote.
My company wants to use X.J Photography to help promote our brand. Can you help with this?
Absolutely! We have extensive experience in social media/online marketing. We can help you come up with a creative concept that fits your specific brand or business and leads to as much exposure and engagement as possible. Contact us for more details.
Can you do outdoor events?
Yes, outdoor events can be a lot of fun! HOWEVER, weather and lighting are always a consideration when shooting outdoors. If we are using a cloth backdrop setup, we almost always need to be set up against a wall to protect against wind. Also, if rain or high winds become an issue, we will have to protect our equipment and your guests by shutting down the booth until conditions improve. To be safe, if there’s an overhead shelter that is protected from the elements, we can set up there. Lastly, the ground where we're setting up needs to be level and even, we don't want X.J Photography or any of the guests taking a fall.
